THE CENTRAL TEXAS ASSOCIATION OF LEBANESE AMERICANS

(CTALA)

Located in Travis County, Texas

Established in January 1990

 CTALA is a Social non-political, non-sectarian association

AIM AND PURPOSES

To preserve and maintain the Lebanese heritage and culture in central Texas.

To educate American born Lebanese of their cultural and historical heritage and to promote this culture, to educate individuals, other associations, leaders and the media about Lebanon.

To mobilize ourselves to help the greater community realize the extent of our contributions and to raise awareness of the many positive attributes of our rich and ancient Lebanese cultural heritage.

To develop awareness and action for Lebanon among the Lebanese and Lebanese Americans in the area.

To raise and solicit resources for needy Lebanese, both in the area and in Lebanon.
